The educational sessions for the upcoming ABA TECHSHOW have just been posted to the website, and it is shaping up to be one of the best editions of this conference. In addition, Harvard Professor and technology activist Larry Lessig has accepted the invitation to be the keynote speaker.
The ABA TECHSHOW is the largest legal technology conference by and for lawyers. I am pleased to serve as vice-chair of the board planning this conference, so I am happy to share my insight into the plans for the conference set for April 11-13, 2011 at the Chicago Hilton.
The planning board has spent hundreds of hours looking through past TECHSHOW evaluations, consulting with other lawyers from across the country, and using our own insight as lawyers and legal technologists to develop a conference that returns high value for every attendee. We work to make sure TECHSHOW delivers practical and useful information to lawyers, legal administrators, paralegals, IT staff on many levels. We have novice, intermediate, and advanced educational sessions presented by lawyers and technologists who either work in or consult with law firms of all sizes. We create an expo hall that has the products and vendors lawyers want to talk to and learn from. We also create networking and social opportunities so that you can talk with other lawyers and firms facing many of the same technology issues.
Mark your calendars now to attend the 25th anniversary edition of ABA TECHSHOW. And if you are so inclined, registration is now open.
